WePlay were tasked with building and engaging Threshold Sports’ online community. Focusing on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, the core objectives were to grow an authentic and valued audience as well as strengthen social presence and digital brand positioning.

Our approach


On a monthly basis, WePlay devised a detailed content plan for each event across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, identifying posts aimed at either engaging, growing or educating the communities. Individual micro-content campaigns were also carried out, culminating in a strong social presence and push on live events to join virtual and reality communities. WePlay also engaged the Threshold Sports communities to help encourage increased social action and build brand authenticity.

Final Score


The integrated, organic campaign proved to be a huge success, with significant audience growth across all platforms and events. With a dedicated community manager to start the conversation and react to users, quality engagement has almost doubled. Our extensive knowledge of the digital environment allowed us to to preempt and react to changing social trends and optimise our organic content accordingly.
