Our 2024 showcase of work is aptly named ‘WePlay’s 2024 Replay’. As we begin to wind down for the festive period and look forward to 2025, we invite you to replay these memorable occasions that shaped our incredible trajectory for 2024.
This year, our team showcased their talent through creativity, collaboration and sheer hard work to produce outcomes and results that give WePlay our edge in understanding our clients’ fans and partners. Each of these moments encapsulates the core of WePlay, which combines creative innovation with performance-driven strategies.
1. First up: Elevating the fan experience with the FEI’s ‘Always Believe’ campaign
We start our WePlay 2024 Replay with the Believe campaign created in partnership with the FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale) redefining the narrative of equestrian show jumping to showcase the bond between horse and rider.
The creative gives us goosebumps, so we’re excited to spotlight such emotionally driven storytelling.
2. Next Up: We tee off our partnership with Asian Tour’s ‘Time to Rise’
We reflect on our partnership with the Asian Tour over the past year – the highlight being the synergy that created the ‘Time to Rise’ campaign.
The concept celebrated the organisation’s regional diversity whilst emphasising its growing global appeal. Enjoy the stunning locations that host Asian Tour tournaments across Asia.
3. Breaking into the MENA region with ADNOC’s Abu Dhabi Marathon
Today we shine a bright light on our work in the MENA region, where we are leading the media and creative for the 2024 ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon, this weekend.
Capturing our expertise in motion design, the WePlay creative team executed Route, Jersey and Medal reveal videos that embody the spirit of motion, perseverance, and achievement. We love to see how our support can elevate our clients in the ever-growing world of mass participation events.
4. We celebrate our longest-running partnership with The IRONMAN Group where excellence drives results.
From concept to execution, our paid media team have leveraged their vast eight-plus year knowledge to drive event registrations for a series of IRONMAN events. A stand-out?
The world-class Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, where the team increased YoY registrations, improving CPA and ROAS. Read more about the results here.
5. Engaging content creation with the European Club Association (ECA) – the journey to 700+ members.
This year, we marked another year of our partnership with ECA, helping deliver and integrate their social media strategy. The highlight? Our WePlay team on the ground for the General Assembly in Athens, capturing behind-the-scenes moments and real-time updates for their 60,000+ social media followers.
Including our Account Director Jack Flannigan, meeting his childhood hero, Arsène Wenger!
6. Euro 2024 Hospitality Experience – elevating the football fan experience
WePlay collaborated closely with UEFA EURO 2024 to develop a paid media strategy aimed at engaging the primary audience in Germany and a secondary audience across Europe. This strategic approach ensured comprehensive and impactful promotion of the hospitality packages.
As well as generating valuable leads, our innovative direct sales strategy—pioneering in the industry—proved exceptionally effective, setting new benchmarks for success in the industry.
The highest revenue ever achieved for a Hospitality Programme at a UEFA European Championship Event. Including 100,000 delighted guests with a memorable experience.
7. Timbersports. Bringing wood-chopping to a mainstream social audience
We reflect on another successful partnership. This time with STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® – a thrilling showcase of skill, speed and strength. The original extreme sport has been supported by WePlay to capture and share the action on their TikTok.
Educating and highlighting the unique USP of this sport is intense, and unfiltered but always dynamic and fun.
8. The Big One: WePlay + rEvolution
2024 marked a game-changing moment for WePlay as we united with rEvolution, two powerhouse teams with one goal – to revolutionise sports marketing. Together, we’re combining our strengths and expertise, setting the stage for unprecedented growth in 2025.

We’re ending 2024 stronger than ever, but we’re just getting started. 2025 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet, with endless opportunities to push the boundaries of innovation, engagement, and growth.
As we say goodbye to 2024, we reflect on a year full of memories that once again showcase the incredibly diverse sports and entertainment partners we’ve worked with this year.
From working with horses on an FEI campaign to rubbing shoulders with giants like Thierry Henry for ECA’s 31st Annual General Assembly, our creative studio, pushing its capabilities to transform visual experiences, our work has even been on the side of the building!
To top it all off our team’s commitment has seen us outperform targets both professionally and personally, ushering in a new era in sports marketing as we became a member of the rEvolution family.
