WePlay strengthens leadership team with key appointment: Sharon Bennett joins as Head of Client Services

WePlay, the UK’s leading award-winning Growth Marketing Partner for the most ambitious brands and rights holders in sport and entertainment, has appointed Sharon Bennett, to join its senior management team.

WePlay partners with some of the world’s most loved global sports brands, including UFC, Global Champions, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Ironman, and Utah Jazz, and is best known for its full-service marketing approach that combines technology, strategy, creative, media and communications to enable brands to grow and monetise their audiences.

Sharon Bennett brings with her a wealth of experience, having spent over 15 years in the industry. Her portfolio boasts successful collaborations on major events like the 2019 Cricket World Cup, ITF Billie Jean King Cup, the 150th Open at St Andrews, and most recently, The FA’s UEFA Women’s Euro and Beijing Olympics.

Sharon also serves as a Board member and trustee at Bloomsbury Football Foundation, a registered charity that utilises the power of football to enhance the lives of children and young people in London.

Kenny Ager, a key figure in WePlay’s operations for the past seven years, has recently made a significant transition from his role as Head of Client Services to Global Head of Commercial Development.

In this new capacity, Kenny assumes the vital responsibility of spearheading WePlay’s growth marketing objectives, aimed at expanding and elevating the company’s presence on an international scale.
