WePlay appointed to launch a new brand identity for the world governing body of the Olympic and Paralympic winter sport, the World Curling Federation

WePlay, award-winning Growth Marketing Partner for brands and rights holders in sport and entertainment have today announced it will be partnering with the World Curling Federation, the world governing body of the Olympic and Paralympic winter sport of Curling to launch a new brand identity.

The World Curling Federation represents curling internationally and facilitates the growth of the sport through a network of 70 Member Associations. Guided by the spirit of curling, the World Curling Federation’s vision is to lead their worldwide community through the promotion and development of the sport, promoting values of inclusivity, openness, and sportsmanship on and off the ice.

The governing body aims to enhance global visibility and recognition by establishing a stronger connection with fans, athletes, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration among all member associations irrespective of their size to create a stronger curling community.

In line with their commitment to promoting and advancing the sport, the World Curling Federation have joined forces with WePlay to create an updated, revitalised brand identity which aims to reaffirm World Curling’s position as a trusted authority and leader in the community.

The partnership with WePlay is an integral part of the federations forward plan, which includes six ‘Big Ideas’ designed to invest in the future of the organisation and the sport, providing a solid foundation for long-term growth and development.

Through close collaboration with the World Curling Federation, WePlay will establish the essence of the new brand, strategically aligning it with the federation’s mission and positioning while unifying elements and bringing all the federation’s channels under a cohesive brand umbrella.

Within the partnership, WePlay will unveil refreshed brand elements and a visually compelling identity, encompassing logos, colour palettes, as well as impactful graphics to create a distinct visual identity for the International Championships.
