We are delighted to announce that WePlay has been shortlisted for ‘Best Marketing Campaign’ at the inaugural SportsPro OTT Awards 2019.

The SportsPro OTT Awards celebrate the pioneers of sports broadcasting, honouring the leaders at the forefront of the OTT industry. We are excited to be nominated for ‘Best Marketing Campaign’ following our work with ESPN Player on the NCAA College Football campaign across the EMEA region.

The nominated partnership is a performance-driven strategic marketing campaign for ESPN Player across EMEA for the 2019/2020 season, focusing on four main areas of OTT subscription; increasing awareness, acquiring subscriptions, driving downloads and reducing churn. 

A panel of 17 independent judges carried out a rigorous elimination process over the last four weeks to create the final shortlist; with a total of five nominees in the category, we are very pleased to have made the final cut.

We look forward to the ceremony in Madrid on the 21st November – hopefully we’ll be one trophy richer by the end of the night!
