Made By Sport is a charity that raises awareness of the power of sport to change lives and raises funds for organisations who use sport as a tool for positive social change

WePlay supported with the strategic development and execution of the #ClubsInCrisis campaign. The campaign raised awareness of the tens of thousands of sports clubs across the UK at risk of permanent closure due to COVID-19, as well as hosting a competition offering clubs the chance of winning 1 of 3 £5,000 donations.

WePlay developed audience profiles and channel usage optimisations to inform the overall digital campaign strategy alongside targeted and cost-efficient media distribution.

WePlay launched a highly targeted paid media campaign to successfully drive traffic to the #ClubsInCrisis microsite, including interactive features such as polls to indicate how they were going to support the campaign.

WePlay managed all social media content production, including a short-form docuseries leveraging Made by Sport’s high-profile ambassadors such as Leon Rolle, Aimee Fuller & Vick Hope.

  • Facebook Page growth of 182%.
