Brief


Digital Playas creates and amplifies content through the use of athletes’ social media. They were appointed by an auction experience company, Loisirs Enchères, to raise awareness and drive website traffic with the support of a partner activation. WePlay were appointed by Digital Playas to execute a social-first, digital strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic and developing data capture with as goal to strengthen brand awareness and grow their audience through the use of partnerships on social media.

Our approach


Working together with Digital Playas and Loisirs Enchères, WePlay developed and executed a three-phase, social-first approach. Phase 1 saw a pure prospecting campaign while utilising a well-known PSG player, Presnel Kimpembe, to drive initial brand awareness through Instagram Stories. From there, phase 2 was initiated and instigated a mix of dark posts, paid strategy and social content to both prospect and retargeting audiences. In the final phase, a pure retargeting campaign was devised to ensure lead generation and data capture.

Through unique content from a top athlete, combined with strong brand presence and targeted paid campaigns, WePlay was able to drive audience growth, as well as capture useful data for future app download campaigns.
