About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager, with paid-digital marketing experience, to join our dynamic team. This role reports to an Account Director and will participate in client services for some of our biggest and most exciting clients.

As an Account Manager, you are the owner of paid media and project delivery, making sure that the client’s vision comes to life.

Your mission: to wow our clients by delivering digital campaigns and projects promptly and in line with the scope of work. With a client focused mindset, you will collaborate with multi-departmental teams to make sure that the campaign is a success. As the manager of the project, you will confidently communicate status updates to clients on their projects, identify opportunities for us to improve our partnership and to upsell additional services.

Roles & responsibilities:


Client Services

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders at appropriate levels.
  • Understand client goals, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Support the Account Director to provide analysis of project’s performance to clients, sharing your expertise and suggesting any additional services where relevant.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide status reports as per clients request and WePlay SOW.
  • Communicate campaign or platform insights to clients regularly in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Set up meeting agenda, notes and status reports.

Team Management

  • Organise and participate in regular meetings to maintain open communication within the team about clients, the business and the individuals and actively listen to feedback.
  • Provide regular feedback addressing issues promptly and constructively.
  • Recognise and reward outstanding performance.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to motivate team members.
  • Responsible for performance management and regular 1-2-1 sessions with line reports.
  • Be a positive role model in the team and agency, help cultivate a positive company culture, aligned with the businesses vision and goals.
  • Identify team members strengths and areas for growth. Support professional development through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Media planning & Project Delivery
  • Working closely with an Account Director, you will be responsible for creating multi-platform media plans.
  • Understand & assess factors affecting media and content performance outside of our campaigns themselves, such as market, economic and cultural events.
  • Collaborate with wider internal specialists to further develop your understanding of the digital media eco-system & its continued evolution.
  • Work with the media experts to select media platform and determine budget allocation.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Preparing plans and timelines that support the campaign/project delivery schedule.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights.
  • Be aware of the SOW, client budgets and deadlines, and ensure that the work is delivered within budget constraints.
  • Promptly address any problems and find solutions to keep client deliverables on track.

About you

  • A confident communicator that has experience supporting senior stakeholders and clients.
  • A team player who likes working collaboratively to achieve KPI’s.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working in a similar role, with a focus on overseeing campaigns on Meta and Google Ads.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for sport or experience in the industry is a plus.
